Celebrated “MSME Growth Hack 10x” with inauguration of Centre of Excellence, AGI, Hyderabad
A Center of Excellence for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CEIIE) has been opened in Anurag Group f Institutions, Venkatapur, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad. Shri Karunendra S Jasti SR. Vice President FTAPCCI inaugurated the centre in the presence of Ms. Khyati Naravane CEO FTAPCCI, Dr. K. S. Rao Director AGI, Mr.Job Thomas President TS & AP CIMSME, which is a part of International Council of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering located in Anurag Group of Institutions, Venkatapur Ghatkesar, Hyderabad Telangana. It has been set up in association with AGI, on Industrial Partnership Program mode.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Centre Dr. K. S. Rao Director AGI, Ghatkesar Hyderabad said that development of entrepreneurial and Innovation culture is prime objective. Startups may be small companies but they can play a significant role in economic growth. They create more jobs which means more employment, and more employment means an improved economy. Not only that, startups can also contribute to economic dynamism by spurring innovation and injecting competition. New entrepreneurs can bring new ideas to the table, much needed to stir innovation and generate competition.
In his Speech Shri Karunendra S Jasti SR. Vice President FTAPCCI shared his journey of thirty years as an Entrepreneur which was started along with his friends from GITAM Engineering College Vizag just after they have passed out. Ms. Khyati Naravane CEO FTAPCCI, shared her definition of Entrepreneurship with the students.
The entire programme was organised by Dr. V Vishnu Vandana and her team of students from the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of AIG.
Later Mr. K V Vishwanathan, Executive Director Nivritti Associates Hyderabad spoke to the students about managing a start-up from inception. And Mr. Job Thomas, CIO, Virtual CIO Consulting Services presented the theme IoT To IIoT To Industry 4.0, followed by an Idea for start-up presentation from the students of AGI.
This Centre would benefit all stakeholders working in Emerging Technology and SME and Enterprise sector. With the help of this Centre, work could be done on innovative ideas. Energy Management, Industry 4.0 driven product development and manufacturing could be the immediate focus area.
Students in large participated in the Idea pitching session. They demonstrated ideas and know-how in the areas of Big-data, Computer Vision, IoT and Social Innovation.
